Mark Antony Dobson (MAD) is a multidisciplinary creative known for bold, original ideas. As a creative producer, artist and solutionist (not a real word...yet), he thrives on messy problems and uses a cross-disciplinary toolkit to make shit happen. Whether leading a team or working solo, MAD brings sharp focus and contagious energy. He doesn’t do five-year plans—he chases momentum: new projects, new tools, fresh possibilities.

Currently the Sales & Digital Marketing Manager at The Baxter in Cape Town, he previously led Marketing & Development at the Vrystaat Arts Festival and served as Programme Manager for the Pan-African Creative Exchange.

A founding member of Vukallective (since 2014), he holds an MA in Postmodern Dance theory and the Grotesque Image—a lens that shapes how he frames bodies, space and gaze. He makes images, videos and live experiments that live between fashion, theatre and internet culture.

He has been burnt out since 2010, has an opinion about everything, but still gets it made.
